I put this information here because those devices have 2,4 and 5 Ghz and a very good range.
I’ve those 2 devices and I put it in monitor mode using kimocoder reccomendations (ip & iw & ip) (https://github.com/aircrack-ng/rtl8812au). Note: the firmware at Kali repo’s is already the one at this page; only you have additional important information if you need to run those devices.
But those devices receive the original name in monitor mode, without the “mon” in the end.
For example with wifite you can’t use it. But yesterday I discovered that if I put the devices in monitor mode BEFORE run wifite, wifite runs ok with those devices. Maybe also some other app’s.
