BSSID in Ethical Hacking Course

When running airodump-ng and following along with the packet sniffing section of the course. It shows two networks, one my main computer is running on and the other is for the Kali machine in the VC. How can I tell which is which so I can test the devices on the network?

When you run airodump-ng, you will get lots of access points and also client connection to various access points. You can look for your machine’s MAC address beforehand and compare it with the BSSID that is connected to it. This way, you know that this BSSID is the one that your system is connected to.

You can also run netsh wlan show interfaces in your terminal to see the router’s BSSID.
