Error when installing Kali Linux

I got the error code NS_ERROR_INVALID_ARG (0x80070057) when I try to add Kali to Virtual Box. I read on a help forum (https://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=91830) That only the creator of a custom Kali Linux can help me with the error. So if there are any solutions please share, Thank You!

I recommend you try this customized Kali:

It is still showing the error.

Do you have enough disk space? Is it a Mac?
Does this help any?

I don’t know how much disk space I need for the download. I currently have 5.69GB though.

  1. Are you saying you have 5.69 gig free space?
  2. What is the operating system?
  1. Yep.
  2. MacOS Mojave.

Unfortunately, I don’t have any experience with Macs. You almost certainly need to free up disk space, that is not likely to be enough. Can you free up maybe another 10 or more gig? You may need to go into your “VirtualBox VMs” folder and delete one or more previous Kali installation folders. Let me know…

Cool, I will try the solutions and report back. Thank You!

YOUR SOLUTION WORKED!!! Im so happy, thank you so much. So I followed your solution and checked out the link you sent me. Turns out there was a duplicate file in the folder that filled 10GBs worth of space. So pretty much I deleted that, killing two birds with one stone, then I imported it and it was successful! Thank you so much I am so grateful! I owe you one!

Great! You’re welcome.
