It looks like FDE is breakable after all?? What concerns me is there is a program for LUKS decryption. I figured Windows and several others had backdoors but it looks like there is software to break FDE for Linux to? How is this possible, I didnt think 256 bit encryption was breakable without a backdoor? The software is called “libluksde”.
Its crackable if you have a weak password. Or you use some sort of evil maid attack. Or the other methods described on the course.
Ok, thanks! So if you have a good password then its not breakable. I read the documentation on the website. It doesnt say anything about success rate or length of passwords etc. It really doesnt say much at all except how to compile the code. BTW, love your courses!!
