I am trying to install TOR and Proxychains and it is showing the following message:
Reading package lists… Done
Building dependency tree… Done
Reading state information… Done
Package tor is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
E: Package ‘tor’ has no installation candidate
What do I have to do? I have tried everything following some youtube videos but unfortunately it didnt help.
You can follow the steps listed on their official page - INSTALLATION | Tor Project | Tor Browser Manual
Tks Apurv, but is not this TOR. I meant thr TOR that works with proxychains with Kali. Sorry, I did mention Kali before.
Anyway, I found the error…my kali has not wifi module. I have to figure out how to install it and then try to install TOR again.
You can refer this site to install Tor service - Installing Tor in Kali Linux - blackMORE Ops
Thank you so much my friend! It’s really useful! I got thousand problems with Kali and I migrated to Parrot. Sorry, I am really a beginner on all of this.
Finally I finished my Tor and Proxychain installations. Going to the next installations from PENTESTER Bootcamp videos.
