I have this Problem when I used to update my kali…

I’m using 2018.1 from my raspberry

The error is a general one that you get when the package manager times out on something (like a download or install). In this case, it was just updating its package lists, which suggests that there was a timeout connecting to a repository.

Try running apt-get update again to see if you get the same error at the same point. If you do, check your repository list to see if maybe you added a custom repository that isn’t responding anymore.
