Linux Beginner Course/Linux Distro

Is Fedora suitable for the course instead of using CentOs?

if you follow the course, you should defenetly follow it with the same distro’s as the teacher. after you get the basic, go with the distribution you want

Yes, you can use Fedora for the course. Just follow the CentOS/RHEL instructions. Also, know that Fedora is starting to use the “dnf” command instead of “yum”. It acts the same way. IE, “yum install -y tree” is the same as “dnf install -y tree”.
