-sL nmap scan

Hi,
If I am scanning facebook or an ip address e.g. 192.168.56.1/24 is there any reason in this case to use -sL? Won’t “nmap 192.168.56.1/24” scan the whole subnet and return ip addresses?

-sL is for list targets which means you can put more than 1 target. If you are putting just one IP then you don’t need to use that flag
