[Solved] High security firewall

For the high security firewall setting, when it states it blocks all inbound and outbound connections, is it only applying to ones that are specifically blocked already or literally everything as in I won’t be able to make any connection to the internet?

I’m not quite sure what lecture you are referring to but yes you are right if you block literally everything then nothing can go in or out. You enable what is necessary, and make sure that what is enabled isn’t weak. Like if you enable access to your local network you do it via OpenVPN with authentication and not via telnet!

Thank you, I was referring to the lecture on windows host firewalls, specifically the windows firewall controller

ok. So you would use that if you wanted to use the machine offline.Example might be the machine is only used for VPN access. When the VPN isnt used you block everything.
