[Solved] Insufficient space on kali

I’ve installed Kali on Vmware and set 40 gigs for space, however,

when I tried to update Nessus there is a message of insufficient space.

I have noticed that the udev partition on has only 1.3 gig.

How can I solve it?

udev is not a partition on a permanent hard drive. It is a RAM disk. As such it does not consume any capacity of a permanent hard drive (except part of swap when the system is short on RAM).

What are the results of

df -h

Dev/sda1/ shows 27g available. I will try install nessus again and see what happens.

Thanks for the fast support.
